Cull stag: September 1 – January 31

Red deer hunting in Hungary is considered the pinnacle of the hunting experience. Stags are primarily hunted during the rutting season, which begins on September 1st. After the rut, hunting continues on mature stags until the end of January. During this period, selective hunting of weaker animals is also possible. Hunting red deer takes place both by stalking and from elevated stands.
